General
Welcome to Vipen Studio's Recording facility. For those of you that have not experienced a recording session before, here's some "nice to know" information. ALL of our in-house equipment is available for your use during recording at NO extra charge. If you prefer, feel free to bring your own equipment. We have a beautiful Pearl Masters Maple 4 ply drum kit available for your use as well. As this is the house recording kit, it becomes more efficient for you to use it as we can have it set up and mic'ed before you arrive for your session. Just make your adjustments and your ready to record. We recommend (not necessary) that you bring your own cymbals, snare, throne, and or kick pedal.
Rates
Recordings are typically booked in four or eight-hour blocks. However, there is a two hour minimum charge for each studio session booked. A small deposit is required at the time of booking. Payment in full is expected at the conclusion of each day of recording. Call or email us at info@vipenstudios.com for pricing.
Cancellation Policy
A deposit is required at time of booking. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit will be applied as follows:
• More than 48 hours notice - deposit may be applied to future session
• Less than 48 hours notice - deposit is forfeited
Recording Media
If you would like to maintain your archived masters, you can purchase a dockable SCSI hard drive or Firewire drive from us or bring your own.
